COVID19 emergency facility built inside military camp in Zamboanga City
A coronavirus disease 2019 emergency quarantine facility was turned over to the Western Mindanao Command by a private company in Zamboanga City on Wednesday.
The emergency facility that will be manned by military doctors was built inside Camp Arturo T. Enrile in Barangay Malagutay. Wesmincom Commander Lieutenant General Cirilito Sobejana said that the facility is intended to cater COVID-19 patients or suspected cases that need to be quarantined. The facility can accomodate around 20 patients, said Wesmincom spokesperson Major Arvin John Encinas.The Task Force Covid reported that the patient, a 94-year old woman, tested positive for the coronavirus and died of respiratory failure and severe pneumonia.
