A cold front swings into the area this morning with a few flurries possible. Temperatures will gradually fall behind the front, with afternoon temperatures in the low to mid-20s. Clouds linger tonight with overnight lows in the single digits. Wind chill will make it feel as low as -5. A disturbance races across the Midwest to produce scattered snow showers on Tuesday. Minor accumulation is expected, with amounts less than an inch. It will be a frigid day with highs in the teens. Overnight lows will plummet into the single digits.
Wind chills below zero will be possible again Wednesday morning, with highs in the teens. By Thursday, temperatures will rebound into the low 30s with flurries. Highs soar into the upper 30s on Friday ahead of our next weather-maker. Our next weather-maker arrives on Saturday; however, there is still low confidence in the track and precipitation type.
