It recently took a Columbus police officer four minutes and 57 seconds before she delivered her first.Officer Lauren Foster was in the right place at the right time for an expectant mother. Her baby girl was ready to enter the world and didn't plan on waiting.A department spokesman told ABC 6 that Foster was finishing up a run when a woman flagged her down and told her a relative was in labor, sitting in the backseat of a car in the parking lot.

Within minutes, the baby girl arrived before medics could. Both mother and baby were taken to Mount Carmel East and are happy and healthy.
