FILE - Columbus police cruiser and crime scene tape. Sept. 29, 2023. A 17-year-old boy is facing multiple felonious assault charges in connection with a shooting early Sunday morning in the north Central neighborhood of Columbus.
Columbus police said the shooting happened in the 1200 block of Key West Have before 4 a.m. on Oct. 29.Officers found them near Joyce Avenue and East 17th and the injured juvenile was taken to a hospital for treatment and then released. Detectives charged a 17-year-old with three counts of felonious assault. The teen was arrested at his residence, a few blocks north of where the alleged shooting took place.
