A winter weather advisory will be in effect for northern Colorado from 6 p.m. Tuesday to 9 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Up to 10 inches of snow are forecast this week across northern Colorado’s mountains, but more than a foot will be possible on some of the state’s highest summits, according to the National Weather Service.
A winter weather advisory will be in effect for northern Colorado from 6 p.m. Tuesday to 9 p.m. Wednesday, including parts of Boulder, Clear Creek, Gilpin, Grand, Jackson, Larimer and Summit counties,. Travel could be very difficult,” forecasters wrote in the advisory. “The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.” A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6pm Tuesday to 9pm Wednesday for the northern Colorado mountains above 9000 feet.
