“They'll be scattered, and there won't be a steady rainfall in any one location through that period of time,” said Quigley. “The way things currently look, we can't rule out locally heavy downpours and then maybe a strong storm or two.” According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of showers on Tuesday from noon to 3 p.m. Showers and thunderstorms are expected until 9 a.m. Wednesday.
