Children play while shrouded in fog in 2019 file photo. The National Weather Service says patchy fog is likely early Monday morning. After a week of biting cold and icy weather, this week looks relatively normal for most of the San Antonio area.“Monday will be totally mild," said Jason Runyen, meteorologist with the National Weather Service’s Austin Bureau,"with lows in the low 50s, highs in the 70s.
Heading into Tuesday, there will be a 60 percent chance of rain. Precipitation might taper off Wednesday morning with a 30 percent chance of rain, Runyen said.Friday will see cooler temperatures with lows dropping to the upper 30s and highs in the upper 50s, but by the weekend, highs will top out in the low to mid 60s.
Despite the potential for freezing temperatures in some areas over the next two weeks, Runyen said there is little chance of freezing precipitation like what San Antonio saw last week.
