Services from Kirkby and Fazakerley are to be amended as Headbolt Lane opens tomorrow
Changes have been announced to services operating on Merseyrail’s Kirkby line ahead of a new £80m station opening tomorrow.
With the new station opening up to passengers, changes to services from Kirkby and Fazakerley have been confirmed. Liverpool Central-bound trains will now depart from Kirkby at 13 and 42 minutes past each hour until 23:13. Two services per hour will continue to operate between Liverpool and Kirkby for the immediate future, with one of those trains also stopping at Headbolt Lane station as the full timetable is gradually introduced.
