Preparations are in full swing for the annual Lighting of the Greens from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 29 in Chagrin Falls' Triangle Park.CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio -- It is definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the downtown historic district of Chagrin Falls.

Every year, the Chagrin Valley Jaycees place hundreds of festive trees throughout the village and string thousands of strands of lights and garland to create a magical experience for the community and visitors. You can call with questions prior to Dec. 2 to avoid getting stuck and losing your preferred reservation.

Jim Cermak of Sugarbush Creek Farm in Middlefield received honors for nominating an American basswood on private land.
