A former childcare manager who is accused of accessing a work computer to reveal a previous investigation into paedophile Ashley Paul Griffith has her case heard in court.
A mother of one of the victims of childcare paedophile Ashley Paul Griffith has told a Brisbane court seeing details of her child's abuse on national television ripped her world apart.
The court heard Yolanda Borucki sent 17 emails from her work account to her personal account a few days before she was informed she would be made redundant.On the program, Ms Borucki detailed alleged complaints of indecent behaviour made to the childcare provider regarding inappropriate conduct by an employee, Ashley Paul Griffith, nearly a year prior to his arrest in 2022.
One of the alleged incidents involved a staff member of the childcare centre observing Griffith kneeling down in the fort of the centre with his face pressed against a young girl.A mother of one of the victims told the court she was informed of the abuse when Ms Borucki called her. " said a whistleblower. We thought it was a parent from another centre and my husband rang me to say it was Yolanda."Several witnesses including an investigating detective and Uniting Church employees were called to give evidence.
