The Cape Fear teaser has dropped, teasing what to expect from Apple TV's newest thriller series from Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg.

“A storm is coming for happily married attorneys Anna and Tom Bowden when Max Cad, the notorious killer they are responsible for putting behind bars, is let out of prison — and he wants vengeance,” reads the official synopsis.. It features a happy couple living a picture-perfect life with their two teenage children. However, someone from their past suddenly returns to haunt them. Together, they must face the consequences of their past decisions as they deal with an enemy who’s hellbent on terrorizing their family. The Cape Fear series is also based on John D. MacDonald’s 1957 suspense thriller novel The Executioners. The show is created by showrunner Nick Antosca, who is executive producing alongside Scorsese,The remake is produced by Alex Hedlund for Eat The Cat, and Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television, with Morten Tyldum and Amanda Marsalis directing and executive producing.
