IPOH: There is a lot of confusion among the people in the city as to whether the public wet markets here will be allowed to operate or would have to close.
While the Ipoh City Council has issued a statement saying that the markets would remain open, Ipoh Timur MP Wong Kah Woh, on his Facebook, stated otherwise.
Wong, on Friday , said he had personally contacted Ipoh mayor Datuk Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahman to seek clarification on the matter.
