IPOH: Six robbers armed with machetes and a knife broke into a doctor's house at Meru Valley Golf Resort here and escaped with belongings worth about RM135,000.
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz said the six suspects, including five males and one female, broke into the 50-year-old doctor's three-storey bungalow at about 4am on Thursday ."They woke him up and told his family to surrender their belongings," he said when contacted.ACP A. Asmadi said jewellery, money, smart phones, watches, personal documents, ATM cards and driving licences were taken by the robbers.
He said the case would be investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code for armed and gang robbery.
