Thomas Joseph Hall, of Warminster Township, is facing serious charges including drug delivery resulting in death, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and involuntary manslaughter, following the death of Gisela Leair in Middletown Township, Pennsylvania.

A Bucks County man, Thomas Joseph Hall, of Warminster Township, is facing serious charges in connection with the death of a 57-year-old woman, Gisela Leair, from Middletown Township, Pennsylvania. On June 4, 2024, police responded to a 911 call at Leair's residence on Poplar Street in Langhorne. Leair's boyfriend reported that his girlfriend had died.

During the investigation, authorities discovered a collection of items at the scene, including Leair's cellphone, three bottles containing methadone, two plastic baggies, and a bowl holding multiple tablets identified as lorazepam and oxycodone. Police learned that the methadone bottles were prescribed to Hall and bore a warning label stating 'may be fatal to adults.' According to a criminal complaint, Hall allegedly attempted to enter Leair's home through a locked door and was confronted by her boyfriend. When informed of Leair's death, Hall reportedly denied providing her with any substances, claiming 'I didn't give her anything.' An autopsy revealed that Leair's cause of death was drug intoxication, stemming from a combination of methadone, lorazepam, and other drugs found in her system.A further examination of Leair's cellphone uncovered a conversation she had with Hall the day before her death. In this conversation, Leair requested oxycodone or Percocet, prompting Hall to allegedly offer her methadone. Cellphone data records corroborated that Hall had been in the vicinity of Leair's home on June 3, between 7:39 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. As a result of the investigation, Hall is facing charges of drug delivery resulting in death, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and involuntary manslaughter. He was arraigned and is currently held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility on a $500,000 bail
