Newly released body camera footage from Pickaway County reveals the arrest of Abby Wright, a staffer on the Bernie Moreno campaign, for drunk driving and the su
bsequent actions of her passenger when police made the arrest.
The stop occurred near Henson’s home, and police instructed him to stay put while they administered a field sobriety test to Wright."What, are you going to tase me," Henson asked an officer.Henson then called a friend, who happened to be State Representative Brian Stewart, and he arrived at the scene and offered to drive Wright’s Jeep home.
Officers declined his offer due to Wright’s lack of proof of insurance, expired tags, and the fact that a tow truck was already on the way."He's not in any kind of trouble," the officer replied.
