"Usually by now, this would be coated in orange, or you’d be able to see the pumpkins by now, but on the plant, you can see most of them don’t have anything," said Stacy Pasco, co-owner of Roberts' Farm Market."We planted two and a half acres, we kept checking them weekly, and they just weren’t growing like they were, and then in August, it just shut off completely," Pasco said. "We weren’t getting any rain here.""I cried," she said.

They're trying to now focus on their feast instead of famine. Starting Saturday, September 14, the Market will sell small mums, corn stalk bundles, and straw."We want to thank our customers for staying with us through the hard times and the good times, and we want to tell everyone to keep praying for the farmers of Pickaway County this year because it’s been a very, very bad year," Pasco said.
