I’m proud of my kids. It’s what we work for. We’ve got a couple of simple fixes moving forward.” The final score, while heavily tilted in McDevitt favor, belies the competitive nature of many bouts. At 114 pounds, defending state champion Braiden Loiter won a hard-fought decision over Arav Pandey via a 4-0 decision.victory of his varsity career with a tight 4-3 win over 22-bout winner Jordan Manyette at 133 pounds. The Shamrocks, with the match no longer in doubt, elected to forfeit the final three bouts of the evening. Bishop McDevitt will face Berks Catholic in Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. championship match at Central York High School. Berks Catholic defeated Biglerville, 40-30, in the other semifinal match. It marks the third straight season that McDevitt and Berks Catholic will compete for the team tournament crown. Trinity, now 9-2, defeated Big Spring to gain the quarterfinal round and will now host Northern Lebanon in a consolation dual meet Thursday.
