BBC Celebrity Race Across The World's Billy Monger has shared the reason he had to withdraw from the show along with his sister Bonny. The siblings exited the series in the final episode due to a family crisis back in the UK, The Mirror reports.
Fans were saddened by the news that the pair had to withdraw but understood the circumstances. One said: "Gutted @BillyMonger had to pull out of @AcrossRace - but fair play putting family first." Another added: "Was only watching this for Billy and Bonny ffs." Someone else wrote: "Noooo they were my favourites #raceacrosstheworld." A fourth commented: "Nooo... was rooting for Billy and Bon.
Good Morning Britain weatherman Alex Beresford was crowned winner alongside his dad Noel, as the first pair to reach the final checkpoint in Tromsø, Norway. McFly drummer Harry Judd and his mum Emma were just four minutes behind them, while All Saints star Melanie Blatt and her mum Helene came third.
