Fans rushed to support Billy and sister Bonny as they revealed serious accident in family
The mystery departure of Billy Monger and his sister Bonny from the BBC ’s Celebrity Race Across The World has been explained. Fans were left confused when they pulled out of the series during the last episode, saying there was a family crisis in the UK.
Billy later explained on Instagram and X that they left because a family member ‘had a bad accident’. He shared: “Bonny Monger and I were gutted to have to leave the race. A close family member had a bad accident so we had to get home. Thankfully all okay now. We loved the journey!” Giovanni said: “Regardless of your final position, it must have been really disappointing not to finish. There are priorities in life, but I felt so sorry for you. You both were amazing throughout, and as a minimum deserved to get to Tromso. #RaceAcrossTheWorld.”
