Billy Monger has opened up about the family emergency that forced him to leave BBC's Celebrity Race Across the World.
The star-studded edition of the BBC programme sees four celebrities and their travel partners embark on a new adventure. The other racegoers were given a letter from Billy and Bonny informing them they were leaving the race. They said they were "gutted" and "sad" but added that "family comes first". "A close family member had a bad accident so we had to get home. Thankfully all okay now. We loved the journey!"
