Model and Orebella founder Bella Hadid celebrated Valentine’s Day early in an on-theme gown from a beloved Lebanese haute designer.

Bella Hadid has successfully established several strands of personal style: the red carpet vamp, the cool off-duty model, the divine feminine, the chaps-wearing cowgirl. Sometimes she’s all-in, and sometimes they overlap.

Stepping out in Los Angeles for a Valentine’s themed dinner celebrating her brand Orebella, she embraced the more romantic side of her style lexicon. Hadid’s dress was totally on theme: she wore a scarlet red dress from the Georges Chakra spring summer 2003 collection, which featured a sheer, crystal embellished cape top and a tight bodice that fell into a slinky column skirt with a ruffled knee length hem. She styled the vintage gem with smooth leather pointed pumps and a diamond bracelet. Her signature glam was glowy, with bronze cheeks and a sculpted cheek contour. Her long—and still very, very blonde—hair was crafted into a half-up half-down do with height on the crown and clipped at the back with a dark red flower. The intimate Orebella event took place at Los Angeles Italian hotspot Etra, ending a meal of meatballs and pasta with gelato and toffee pudding. Inside, guests were gifted floral silk scarves that they could have personally embroidered. Bella wrapped hers around her waist. It’s not the first time Hadid has explored the sparkling, sensual archive of Georges Chakra, the beloved, Beirut-based Lebanese haute couture designer. In Aspen this season, she braved the mountain cold to wear a lingerie-inspired black dress with delicate floral embroidery. Loud colors continue to recur in Bella’s wardrobe, too, from the fire red, silky Schiaparelli couture fall 2025 gown that she wore to The Beauty premiere, to the very on-trend shade of cobalt blue. In her more day-to-day life, Hadid has been sporting her Mayfair x Orebella collab hoodie, Saint Laurent leathers, and Frankie’s bikinis. No matter what, Bella Hadid will always smash a theme.
