PETALING JAYA: The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) are taking no chances with the health and wellbeing of the national shuttlers and coaches at the training centre.
The national body, in a statement on Sunday , said the team's training will be halted to pave way for cleaning and sanitisation works at the Academy Badminton Malaysia in Bukit Kiara in the wake of the escalating Covid-19 outbreak.
"This precautionary measure is in line with recommendations by the Ministry of Health, National Sports Council and National Sports Institute to combat the Covid-19 outbreak," it said.
