The Cleburne County Sheriff's Office in Alabama released a lengthy update on the search for a woman missing from Marysville since late September.Vendula 'Wendy'

Vendula 'Wendy' Rose traveled to Alabama on September 20. Beforehand, she spoke with family members about leaving personal items in a safe deposit box at her bank and also left her work keys at her job, which was noted as abnormal.

Rose was last seen on September 24 when she went to Cheaha State Park where her vehicle was found parked at the head of Pinhoti Trail . When she did not return to work on October 4 as scheduled, a missing persons report was filed, and a search covering more than 30 miles was conducted. Authorities found items in Rose's vehicle which suggested she may have been experiencing a mental health crisis, including aAs of October 8, authorities said all known locations she visited have been checked and no other evidence was found.

Authorities said Rose's family shared that she has been interested in the Appalachian and Pinhoti Trails, and based on this information, they have reason to believe she may be travelingAnyone with information is asked to call the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office
