Australian batting star Travis Head reaches his 50 in just 19 balls before Australia's bowlers finish off the job to beat England in their first T20 of the series.
Mitchell Marsh celebrates a wicket as Australia saw off England in their first T20 clash of the series in Southampton. What's next? Travis Head illuminated a chilly, dank evening in Southampton, crashing a record-breaking half-century to ignite some Australia n fireworks in a convincing 28-run triumph over England in their T20 international opener.
Along with Matt Short, a surprise choice as his opening partner after exciting prospect Jake Fraser-McGurk was dropped, Head had earlier hammered England's attack to all parts of the Rose Bowl as the pair amassed 86 off a scintillating powerplay.
The 22-year-old Fraser-McGurk paid the price for scoring just 16, including two ducks, in his three knocks during the series win over Scotland and Short, back from paternity leave, celebrated his unexpected recall with an impressive knock which included two successive sixes off Reece Topley in just the second over.
Salt was caught off the first ball of England's reply, only to be reprieved by Xavier Bartlett having over-stepped.
