Published: Nov. 26, 2024, 2:36 p.m.CLEVELAND, Oh - A friend/co-worker hosts a Christmas/holiday party every year. I have been attending for the past few years. With the holiday’s just around the corner, I am starting to question if it’s going to happen this year.

I haven’t heard anything so far. Is it acceptable to ask if they are hosting it this year? I’m trying to balance my holiday calendar, and I want to attend their party. Of course, I don’t want to appear like I’m rudely inviting myself. What do I do?Our calendars can certainly fill up very quickly around the end of the year and holidays so I can understand your wanting to pencil everything in as soon as you can.
