Six men are currently standing trial in relation to her death at Liverpool Crown Court.
Ashley Dale said she 'feared the worst' as the feud with her boyfriend heated up three weeks before she was shot dead, a jury heard.
Last week the jury heard the prosecution case is that Witham and a second man, Joseph Peers, were "dispatched" to kill Harrison by three men - Niall Barry, 26; Sean Zeisz, 28; and Ian Fitzgibbon, 28 - who were allegedly directing the hit from a flat in Pilch Lane, Huyton. She said to one friend, named Mol: "Proper stressed in rs all the time. Me nerves are gone when am out in the car with Lee just feeling like I'm looking over my shoulder all the time."
She said she wanted to "prepare for the worst", and added: "I don't normally want to know but I need to know what's going to happen." In an exchange with Mol, she said: "Branch was at the balloon release on Saturday with Zest . Can’t believe it he just crawled out the woodwork. The jury has already heard Harrison had been "best mates" with Barry before an alleged fall-out a number of years ago, which Ashley described as causing "heavy beef" between the two men.
