Ashley Dale said one suspect, Niall Barry, had been saying he wants to 'shoot my boyfriend'
A jury have heard voice recordings of Ashley Dale telling a friend how she feared "the worst" over what was going to happen to her boyfriend less than three weeks before she was shot dead.
Today the prosecution began introducing evidence to the jury, including material recovered from Ashley's phone after her death. Alex Langhorn, junior counsel for the prosecution, played a number of recorded voice notes sent in conversations between Ashley and her friends. Mol replied: "They’re just too laid back about s*** aren’t they I feel that makes ye feel worse. I don’t think anything will happen."
According to Ashley, her boyfriend wanted to end the feud with Barry. She told Sophie: “I know Lee doesn’t want this. Lee said to me if Branch came to me and said let’s squash it I would squash it, I don’t want all this murder…He’s not worth this, he’s not worth me ending up in jail or ending up wherever, I don’t want this.”
"If he goes what’s gonna happen yano what i mean. I cba with it. Don’t want to have to go to Lee’s funeral next. Just had a bad bad feeling about everything Mol. It’s horrible me heart’s in my mouth constantly. Feel like I’m looking over my shoulder all the time." The prosecution has claimed a fight or assault at Glastonbury festival in late June last year triggered animosity between Zeisz and Harrison's friend Jordan Thompson, which "reignited" the feud between Barry and Harrison.
