Arugula Recall Sparks Warning to Customers

Publix announced that Green Life Farms issued a recall of its Hydroponic Baby Arugula over possible contamination with salmonella.

The Publix supermarket chain announced a recall of certain Green Life Farms' Hydroponic Baby Arugula packages over concerns of potential salmonella contamination.According to a news release from Publix, Green Life Farms issued a voluntary recall of one lot of its 4-ounce containers of baby arugula due to possible traces of salmonella, a bacteria that is among the leading causes of food poisoning in the United States.The baby arugula is sold in clear plastic containers.
