Mars Petcare US issued a voluntary recall on Friday for 315 bags of its Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition grilled steak and vegetable flavored dry dog food.According to the update on Pedigree's website, the dog food impacted by the 'limited' voluntary recall, which is only for the 44-pound bag, is due to the potential presence of loose metal and has a best by date of March 4, 2025, and Lot Code 410B2TXT02. The bags were sold by Walmart in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas.
Costumers are also advised to stop using the product if they believe they have purchased it.Pedigree lists Mars Petcare US contact information as 1-800-525-5273 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central Standard Time Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday or advises customers to visit www.pedigree.com/update.
