Two men were arrested Wednesday in connection with an October 2025 shooting incident in Lancaster city. Jahquon Greaves, 23, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, among related charges. The Lancaster City Bureau of Police said the shooting took place around 5 p.m. on Oct. 17 in the area of 500 West King Street. Police found Greaves with a gunshot wound, and he was later treated at the hospital. Afterwards, officers said they went back to the scene and obtained video footage nearby that showed two groups meeting on South Mary Street. In the group with Greaves was Jarrel Greaves, 22, who was also recently arrested Wednesday and charged in connection to the shooting.In total, police believe the two groups fired around 15 bullets. Lancaster police stated Jahquon Greaves used a .40-caliber handgun and struck a home on South Mary Street. Both were arrested with assistance from the Lancaster County SERT team and U.S. Marshals, police said. Both are staying in Lancaster County Prison, according to online court documents. Sanchez-Garcia was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, three counts of firing into an occupied structure and related charges. Jarrel Greaves is currently being charged with firearms not to be carried without a license and one count of tampering with evidence. Jahquon Greaves is facing aggravated assault charges as well as tampering with evidence, reckless endangerment, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, and carrying a firearm without a license.Lancaster city police said the investigation is ongoing.
