The musician, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, shared videos on social media showing him clapping and saluting from his hilltop estate, which he calls "the Southern White House." "God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her," the singer wrote alongside the video. He also used profanities to insult California Gov. Gavin Newsom, saying "this is a level of respect" he will never know. An Army spokesperson for the 101st Airborne Division identified the aircraft on Monday as AH-64 Apache helicopters operating in the Nashville area for training purposes and stated that "appropriate action will be taken if any violations are found." "Army aviators must adhere to strict safety standards, professionalism, and established flight regulations," the Army said in a statement. "An administrative review is underway to assess the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements." The spokesperson confirmed the helicopters were not related to Nashville's "No Kings" protests and were "entirely coincidental."
