by ALEXX ALTMAN-DEVILBISS | The National News DeskJOINT BASE ANDREWS, MARYLAND - JUNE 12: A U.S. Army AH-64E Apache helicopter sits on the flight line on June 12, 2025 at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The Army has opened an investigation after a video appeared to show AH64 Apache helicopters hovering and flying by the home of singer Kid Rock, according to Army Maj.
Jonathon Bless, the 101st Airborne Division Public Affairs Officer. In the video posted by the singer on March 29, the singer is seen clapping and saluting from his hilltop estate, which he calls "the Southern White House." "God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her," Kid Rock wrote on Instagram while insulting California Gov. Gavin Newsom. Bless told The National News Desk that the Army is aware of the video and the helicopters "operating in the vicinity of a private residence in the Nashville area." "Army aviators must adhere to strict safety standards, professionalism, and established flight regulations," Bless continued. "An administrative review is underway to assess the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements. Appropriate action will be taken if any violations are found." Several stations also reported that Apache helicopters may have flown over a "No Kings" protest on Saturday, but Bless confirmed helicopters were in the area for training purposes. “These helicopters were flying a route in the Nashville vicinity for training purposes. Any association with the No Kings Rally also happening in Nashville that day is entirely coincidental," Bless told The Hill.Fort Campbell, which is home to the 101st Airborne Division, is about 50 miles from where Kid Rock's estate sits.As the weather warms and spring break approaches, there’s no better place for families to reconnect with nature, wildlife, and each other than the Columbus ZooAn endangered child alert was canceled Monday in Pike County after law-enforcement officials said the girl was found safe. The alert had covered Pike, Adams, HigA jury declined to indict a father who allegedly fatally shot his daughter in the chest following an argument about President Donald Trump.Sources familiar with the situation said TSA employees who received the gift cards were asked over the weekend to return them.Central Ohio communities gathered in grief and gratitude as three airmen killed in a refueling aircraft crash in Iraq were brought home to be laid to rest.
