Menstruating student athletes in Florida are being asked all about their menstrual cycles, from how long it usually lasts to when their last period started and more. And in a post Roe v Wade world, people are asking why.

Concerns have been circulating within the state of Florida educational system, as a third-party digital platform is now being used to record female student athletes’ menstrual cycles. Why? Apparently, this is necessary knowledge the public school district must know in order to allow female students to participate in school sports. Not only are the distinctive questions only angled towards female athletes, apparently these gender-specific questions have been asked for two decades.
