This act of kindness for one of their own held a special meaning for the riders.
DOTHAN, Ala. -On a day all about veterans, a group of American legion riders surprised a Vietnam War veteran with something near and dear to his heart.As the American Legion Riders of Dothan Post 12 filed out of the parking lot of the VFW post, they had a special mission on their hearts.
That surprise was installing a flag pole in Gene’s yard adorned with the American flag. Something that means so much to our nation’s heroes.
