Amazon Prime Video series 'The Boys' has changed the title of its season finale and issued a disclaimer about depictions of political violence following news of the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump. 'The Boys' is a satirical show about individuals with superpowers who abuse their abilities, and the CIA-sponsored vigilante group tasked with taking them down.
Several critics felt that season four referenced the fears many voters have about Project 2025, the governing plan developed by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank. Project 2025 lays out plans to reduce government oversight, further restrict abortion access, crack down on immigration and shut down initiatives designed to address the impacts of climate change, among other conservative goals.
