The Alogic Illuminate Light Bar introduces a new solution for users seeking both ambient lighting and webcam functionality in a single device. Featuring an integrated 12MP webcam and adjustable LED lighting, the Illuminate aims to enhance workspace productivity and comfort.
Alogic has launched its new Illuminate Light Bar , a product designed to address a common issue faced by users of monitor-top lighting solutions: webcam placement. The Illuminate features a built-in 12MP webcam, eliminating the need for a separate webcam and providing a streamlined setup. The Light Bar utilizes an LED source and boasts several design innovations, including a wireless remote control for easy adjustment of brightness and color temperature .
The Illuminate offers an adjustable brightness level, ranging from a low setting for late-night work to a maximum brightness suitable for well-lit conditions. The color temperature can be customized to a warm 2,800K, ideal for reducing eye strain when reading documents, or a cooler 7,500K for a more neutral light. A mixed 6,000K setting replicates natural sunlight, making it suitable for color-critical tasks.A unique asymmetrical optical design ensures that the light illuminates the workspace without reflecting onto the monitor's surface, preventing glare and unwanted reflections. The 12MP webcam, based on the popular Clarity display webcam, features a rapid autofocus and captures sharp images from 20cm to 3 meters away. With an 80-degree field of view, it can accommodate multiple individuals in the frame. Anti-flicker technology at 50/60Hz ensures a clearer and steadier image. When not in use, a magnetic cover can be attached to the webcam lens for privacy. The Illuminate also includes touch-sensitive switches for controlling the light and adjusting settings without the remote. Designed to combat eye strain, the Illuminate aims to equalize the light differential between the monitor and the surrounding environment by offering precise control over ambient lighting
