Police in Ephrata are charging a Norristown woman with retail theft, resisting arrest, aggravated assault, false identification, and drug charges.
A Red Flag Warning is in effect for today. Due to windy and dry conditions, potential wildfires could rapidly spread.
Police responded to the store on October 30 after loss and prevention staff reported the woman, who was unidentified at the time, had concealed other merchandise in a reusable shopping bag and tried to leave without paying for $2,000 worth of items.
