The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back—and more glamorous than ever.The annual catwalk spectacle returns to New York City tonight, for the first time in six years—with supermodel powerhouses like Tyra Banks, Candice Swanepoel, Imaan Hammam, and Devyn Garcia all expected to grace the runway clad in the lingerie brand’s iconic angel wings.
In addition to the legion of modeling legends, Victorias Secret has also recruited special musical performances from megawatt stars Cher, Lisa, and Tyla.“I never in a million years thought that I would be back on the runway, but I am so beyond excited and so ready for this,” Banks recently told Harper’s Bazaar in a conversation about her return to the Victoria’s Secret runway, nearly 20 years after her last strut at the 2005 show. “I think the world has changed to see that, as women, we don’t have to be a stereotype and to fit into one mold. And so I feel very excited and fortunate to come back and celebrate all of myself and not feel like I have to cut off a piece to be taken seriously.
