With all of her engagements—plus more than two decades of professional experience—it should come as no surprise that Gomez has red carpet dressing down to a science. While we usually see the Rare Beauty entrepreneur in a curve-hugging black dress , Gomez opted for a totally different approach for the Emilia Pérez gala screening at the 2024 London Film Festival. Hitting the carpet alongside her co-stars Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofïa Gascón, and Adriana Paz, she traded in her LBD for a cherry red boatneck gown. The dress’s waist was cinched with a dramatic tie detail, connecting the form-fitting bodice to the grand skirt, which flared out around her. Gomez leaned into the grandeur of the look with her accessories. On her chest sat a diamond-encrusted necklace. She tied her hair up into a sleek ponytail to show off her earrings, marked by dangling pear-shaped diamonds that matched her necklace’s pendant. While she looks undeniably gorgeous in her go-to black bodycon dresses , it’s always nice to see Selena Gomez step out of her comfort zone. Indeed, the risk paid off: she looked red hot!
