MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs on Monday recorded 52 news cases of the coronavirus disease among overseas Filipinos across 44 countries.
Figures released by the DFA showed that there are now 1,395 Filipinos abroad who contracted the disease.Of the number, 829 Filipino patients are still undergoing treatment, while 380 have recovered including 49 new recoveries. “For the past month, the total number of Filipino COVID-19 patients who recovered remains higher than the total number of fatalities by 104 ,” the DFA said.
