Investigators remain on the scene of a home where three people were found dead after a standoff with a knife-wielding suspect in Northampton Township, Bucks County. The heavy police response stretched for blocks throughout the quiet community, leaving the neighborhood on edge.
The Bucks County District Attorney's Office said officers responded to a call at a single-family home on Heather Drive near Second Street Pike at 2:15 p.m. on Monday, where they were confronted by a man armed with a knife. Video shows a SWAT team breaching the residence, where the suspect was ultimately taken into custody.Chopper 6 captured some of the activity through a window in the back of the home, showing a member of the SWAT team banging on possibly a door inside that back room."About eight police cars came back to back to back. No sirens, no lights on, and turned into the neighborhood," said Garrett Hensel of Northampton Twp.Authorities have not released additional details about the investigation or identified anyone involved.Copyright © 2026 WPVI-TV.
