A 29-year-old Pensacola man charged in a triple homicide was moved on Wednesday from a jail cell in Santa Rosa County to his new place of confinement at the Escambia County Jail, where he is being held without bond, according to records.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said those three men were shot dead outside an adult birthday party on 65th Avenue during the early morning hours of April 28. They were shot inside a parked vehicle, according to investigators.Black is the second man charged with those murders. Torrance Lamar Sumler, 23, was arrested earlier this year for the triple homicides and also indicted on the same charges on Sept. 6.
Black had been held in Santa Rosa County’s jail from May 2 until his transfer to Escambia County Wednesday, records show.
