Ongoing probe leads to multiple arrests at a business on Lorain Avenue in Fairview Park.

A HAZMAT team decontaminated a scene Wednesday at a Fairview Park business where authorities say suspects ran a drug operation. CLEVELAND, Ohio – Two people suspected of running a drug processing operation were arrested Wednesday at a storefront in Fairview Park.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and other federal and local law enforcement agencies executed three search warrants in Cleveland and its suburbs, according to Brian McNeal, a spokesman for the DEA. One of the warrants took place at a business in the 21000 block of Lorain Avenue in Fairview Park. The warrant stemmed from an ongoing probe. Two people were arrested at the scene, McNeal said. The sign above the business reads “esi,” but the business does not appear to have been incorporated with the Ohio Secretary of State. Authorities also searched an apartment on Puritas Avenue in Cleveland. Attempts to reach Cleveland police were unsuccessful. HAZMAT members responded and decontaminated the scene. The team will have a presence at the scene for the remainder of the day, McNeal said.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.and agree that your clicks, interactions, and personal information may be collected, recorded, and/or stored by us and social media and other third-party partners in accordance with our
