Deli Boys Season 2 Finale: The Dars' Victory and New Enemy
Deli BoysSeason 2Season 3

The Dars, led by Raj and Mir, have paid off their debts and are raking in the cash in Deli Boys season 2. However, their success is short-lived as they face a new enemy in the form of a mysterious note and poisoned pie sent by their own older sibling. The Dars' takedown of Andrew Chadwater and Max Sugar is also explained in the finale.

Warning! Spoilers for Deli Boys season 2 ahead! The Dars celebrate quite a victory at the end of Deli Boys season 2 , but a new enemy suggests that things are only going to get more complicated.

Against all odds, business is booming for Raj and Mir as this newest installment of the Hulu crime comedy series kicks off. With their debts paid in full, the Co-Chief Saabs are raking in the cash. The only problem is that they have yet to find a way to clean up this money.

Dark DarCo certainly can't claim that their millions came from the ABC Deli, so the Dars and Lucky go on the hunt for the right business to launder all their dirty cash. They ultimately set their sights on billionaire casino kingpin Max Sugar , who takes a particular interest in Lucky Auntie. The big question here was whether Max could be trusted.

Rather unsurprisingly, the answer is no, since it only took some pressure from mayoral hopeful District Attorney Andrew Chadwater to turn Lucky's lover against her. With Max passing information to Chadwater, it's only a matter of time in Deli Boys season 2 before the law closes in on DarCo. So, Lucky sets her genius on finding a way to take down both her enemies in one fell swoop.

The Dars take a hostage, turn Chadwater's sting against him, make Max their scapegoat, and walk away free and clear. It's quite a victory for the Co-Chief Saabs and their Lucky Auntie, but the celebration is short-lived. Just as Mir and Raj think they are untouchable, a special package arrives containing a pie and a mysterious note—"Congrats on your recent success. Now I'm coming for my piece of the pie.

From the eldest Dar.

" It's a real puzzle, especially since, almost immediately after Raj finishes reading this note, Matthew falls, apparently dead from eating the poisoned pie. It appears the Dars have a new enemy to face in Deli Boys season 3, and all signs point to this mysterious pie-sender being their own older sibling.

Lucky’s Reaction Suggests Raj & Mir Really Do Have A Secret Older Sibling Raj and Mir are confused by the note at the end of season 2 of Deli Boys and don't seem to take it seriously . Lucky, on the other hand, clearly knows exactly who sent the pie. She freezes immediately upon hearing"the eldest Dar," and screams at Matthew not to eat the mysterious gift.

Going into season 3 of Deli Boys, Lucky will have some explaining to do. It certainly sounds as if the murdered Baba Dar had another child before Raj, and it makes sense that, if anyone knew about it, it would be Lucky Auntie.

However, it's unclear where this supposed older sibling of Mir and Raj has been all these years. Baba's two sons grew up pampered and loved, and Lucky remains extremely protective of them. Why would this eldest Dar be hidden away and treated so differently? Regardless of why Mir and Raj have a sibling they don't know about, it's evident that this new villain is dangerous.

Lucky immediately knew that the pie was poisoned once she realized who had sent it. If, as it appears, this mysterious new Deli Boys character has some resentment regarding their younger siblings' success, the Dars are at risk of losing everything. It's especially unfortunate considering all Mir, Raj, and Lucky had to do in Deli Boys season 2 to secure and grow their empire.

The Dars' Takedown Of Andrew Chadwater & Max Sugar Explained The other big event of the finale of Deli Boys season 2 is the characters' successful takedown of not just Max Sugar but Andrew Chadwater as well. The whole thing was Lucky's idea . The first step of the plan was kidnapping Max's beloved daughter, Seven, thus ensuring Max's cooperation.

Lucky then had Max suggest that Chadwater intercept the Dars as they drop off their drug money at the casino. From there, the Dars used some particularly damning information against the Philadelphia DA. During Matthew's time working for Chadwater, he picked up some clues that the would-be mayor had comitted a crime while closing his most famous case. Chadwater took down a criminal called Joey Tomatoes, but only because he planted a gun in the man's car.

Mir, Raj, and Lucky needed only to bait Chadwater by suggesting that he hadn't really had anything to do with Joey Tomatoes' arrest for the DA to give up his secret. A hidden camera caught the whole thing, and the Dars had Chadwater completely under their control. Subscribe to the newsletter for Deli Boys insights Hungry for deeper Deli Boys analysis?

This led to the next stage in Lucky's plan.

The Dars hid cocaine within the pile of cash they brought to the casino and told Chadwater that they would keep their damning evidence quiet, but only if he arrested Max for possession instead of them. It was a win-win, since Chadwater wanted a drug lord takedown to aid his campaign. Through one carefully planned operation, Lucky got Max put behind bars and earned an ally in what is likely the future mayor of Philadelphia.

DarCo’s Co-Chief Saabs Are In A Better Position Than Ever Max's arrest wasn't the end of Lucky's plan in Deli Boys season 2. It just so happened that the casino kingpin had left power of attorney with his lawyer, Danyal , who was also in love with Lucky. This, combined with a little gunwaving, made it easy to convince Danyal to sign over Max's casino and broader empire.

Mir and Raj spent much of Deli Boys season 2 trying to fulfill their late father's dream of purchasing a country club, and they were ultimately successful. So, now, the Dars have not just a successful cocaine empire, but their own country club and casino. Laundering their money is a much easier task than before, and DarCo is flying high.

Of course, this means Mir, Raj, and Lucky are at risk of a pretty steep fall, especially as the"eldest Dar" rears their head. One thing is certain after this chaotic conclusion—things are bound to get even more interesting in Deli Boys season 3. 10/10 Deli Boys 10 stars 9 stars 8 stars 7 stars 6 stars 5 stars 4 stars 3 stars 2 stars 1 star Like Follow Followed TV-MA Drama Comedy Crime Release Date March 6, 2025 Network Hulu Directors Oz Rodriguez, Maureen Bharoocha, Fawzia Mirza, Jeremy Konner, Andrew Ahn, Nisha Ganatra, Ahmed Ibrahim, Jenni Konner Writers Abdullah Saeed, Michelle Nader, Mehar Sethi, Ekaterina Vladimirova, Sudi Green Cast See All Creator Abdullah Saeed Powered by Expand Collapse
