The latest episode of the Disney+ drama series Rivals has generated significant buzz with a striking nod to its star's previous iconic role. In the second season, episode five, released on Friday, Aiden Turner 's character, Declan O'Hara, is depicted swimming nude in a Scottish loch.
The scene, which shows Turner emerging from the water with a muscular physique and a brief glimpse of his lower body as he retrieves his trousers, directly recalls a famous moment from his earlier career. Turner previously achieved widespread fame playing the brooding Captain Ross Poldark in the BBC's historical drama series that aired from 2015 to 2019.

This comment specifically referenced the character Rupert Campbell-Black. Actress Victoria Smurfit, who plays Maud O'Hara, emotionally recounted the day the cast and crew learned of Cooper's passing.
