Imagine Fiesta without music. No mariachis or marching bands. No rock, country or jazz. It wouldn't be the same. From the Fiesta Oyster Bake to the King William Fair , with more than a dozen events in between, music is essential to Fiesta .
Here's a look at many of the highlights. Fiesta De Los Reyes: This Market Square staple features top Tejano acts, including Latin Breed, Stefanie Montiel and Gary Hobbs, on the Gateway Stage, plus a wide variety of other acts on four more stages over its 10-day run. A Night in Old San Antonio: NIOSA is like Fiesta in miniature, with country music, R&B, new wave and mariachi playing in the street party's various neighborhoods. PACfest: Latin Grammy winner Alicia Villarreal, former singer for Grupo Limite, headlines Palo Alto College’s Fiesta bash. Battle of the Flowers Band Festival: If halftime is your favorite part of high school football games, this is the Fiesta event for you. King William Fair: The family festival in the King William Historic District may have the widest array of entertainment of any Fiesta event, from magic and puppets to mariachi and rock.
