According to police, the driver of a gray Nissan Armada, traveling northbound on Grant Ave with the right of way, proceeded through the intersection when a brown Buick LaCrosse traveling eastbound on Alametos St. disregarded a stop sign and collided with the Nissan Armada. Police say the force of the impact pushed the Nissan Armada into the curb, causing it to spin and come to a rest against a retaining wall. The driver of the Nissan Armada, a 30-year-old woman, was injured in the crash. The Buick LaCrosse was inoperable after the collision. The driver of the Buick LaCrosse fled the scene on foot, failing to render aid to the injured driver of the Nissan Armada.

Police are searching for the driver of the Buick LaCrosse and expect to file charges of failing to stop and render aid after a moving vehicle accident upon apprehension.
