The Days of Play event is a one-stop shop for all PlayStation users, allowing them to get their hands on exclusive offers, and in this case, an epic giveaway which could see them walk away with a huge prize.
Yesterday saw Sony announce the upcoming Days of Play 2026 event, allowing PlayStation users to check out player activities, access exciting offers, enjoy PlayStation Plus content, and much more.
Kicking off on 27 May and ending on 10 June, the Days of Play event is the one-stop shop for all PlayStation users, allowing them to get their hands on exclusive offers, and in this case, an epic giveaway which could see them walk away with a huge prize. Whilst we already know the games being added to the PlayStation Plus library for June 2026, the Days of Play event will allow users to gain access to more titles than usual, as well as allowing them to try-before-they-buy courtesy of Game Trials.
As such, award-winning titles such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be free to download throughout the event, with many more where that came from. However, it is the huge sweepstakes that has captured our attention, as the winner will have the possibility of walking away with a PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge wireless controller, 12 Months of PS Plus Premium, and a $100 USD of PS Store credit.
Put simply, this is a huge prize worth a lot of money, and you could bag it all for absolutely free. The sweepstakes arrives as part of PlayStation Tournaments that will be taking place across the duration of the Days of Play event.
To enter, you must enter various tournaments across the following titles: EA Sports Madden NFL 26, NBA 2K26, Tekken 8, Mortal Kombat 1, EA Sports UFC 5, EA Sports College Football 26, Gran Turismo 7, Astro Bot, Asphalt 9: Legends, and Fortnite. By partaking in at least one match during the Days of Play event, you will earn a unique Days of Play PS avatar AND be automatically entered into the sweepstakes.
However, that is not all, according to the official PlayStation blog: During the competition, there will also be Golden Tournaments within EA Sports FC 26, EA Sports Madden NFL 26, and Mortal Kombat 1. These will feature double virtual currency rewards for winners, along with a unique Golden Tournament avatar for all participants.
All participants in tournaments for Gran Turismo 7 will also earn an exclusive Days of Play livery, while participants in the Fortnite Days of Play Cup will compete for a piece of a global cash prize pool worth $200,000. Overall, there is a lot of money and incredible hardware up for grabs just by participating in various challenges across some hit games from 27 May to 10 June.
