) - A Theodore man faces assault and criminal mischief charges following a disturbance at a birthday party that left two people injured. According to the Mobile Police Department , the victims were attending a birthday party when a man, identified as 34-year-old Darion Mansfield , got into a confrontation with several people and became agitated.
Shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday, Mobile police officers responded to the 3100 block of Baptiste Drive South, where they found a man suffering from a head injury after being hit with an object. Officers also encountered a woman outside the residence. According to MPD, the woman had been hit by a vehicle and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Mansfield reportedly used the vehicle to hit a water slide, the corner of the house, the home’s back steps and a grill.
