Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were called to the 16200 block of Londelius Street, located near the intersection of Woodley Avenue and Parthenia Street, in the North Hills area on Wednesday, May 27 around 8 p.m. A family member reportedly called 911 to describe the horrific scene and once first responders arrived, four people inside the home were pronounced dead. The victims included a baby believed to be around 4-months-old and a 5-year-old boy.
While it remains an active and open investigation, authorities said the shooting is being investigated as a murder-suicide. They believe the shooter is the child's mother.
"I just don’t understand," a neighbor said. "I hope people realize there is help. "
